Just a few too many points here in a rivalry game that dates back to 1910. Wisconsin has dominated this series the past couple decades but they've beaten Indiana by 12+ just twice in their last 22 meetings. Indiana won their only meeting last year by 18 at Home last year. They're 1-2 on the road this year picking up a Win @ Michigan before losing @ Rutgers and @ Nebraska.
They should get some uncharacteristic help from the 3-Ball tonight. Indiana ranks 347th in 3-PT Rate. It's just not their style of play but they do have shooters. Xavier Johnson is shooting 41.2% from 3, Malik Reneau is at 40%, Trey Galloway is at 28.8% on the year but that's due to a horrendous start, he's shooting 37.8% over Indiana's last 10 games and shot 46.2% from 3 last year. Even their Center Kel'el Ware is shooting 41.7% on limited attempts. He's made a 3 in 3 straight games. Mackenzie Mgbako is at 40.8% over their last 10 games well. Wisconsin's one of the worst 3-PT defenses in the Nation. They rank 263rd allowing teams to shoot 35.2% from 3. They're rank 324th in Open-3 Rate defensively, 282nd in PPP against Catch & Shoot 3's and 285th in PPP against Off the Dribble 3's.
Indiana has the tools to hang around and cover the number. Wisconsin also ranks 316th in Adjusted Tempo. This game will be played at a slower pace which should keep the overall scoring down.
