The Chiefs host the Bengals in week two of the regular season. Last week the Bengals did not look good at all losing to a rebuilding Patriots team 10-16. They just couldn't put together good drives, going 3/11 on 3rd down and losing two fumbles. Their offensive line struggled as they only had 70 total rushing yards and gave up 3 sacks. Defensively they shut down the passing game, but that's not high praise going against the Patriots. They also gave up 170 yards on the ground, with RB Rhamondre Stevenson getting 120. Meanwhile, the Chiefs battled the Ravens in the rematch of last year's AFC Championship game and came away with a 27-20 win thanks to Isaiah Likely's big toe. Mahomes was efficient besides his one interception, going 20/28 for 291 passing yards and one touchdown. Both teams struggled to run the ball effectively with their RBs, but against a weaker Bengals defense, the Chiefs will be firing on all cylinders offensively. The Chiefs did struggle to contain Lamar Jackson, but containing Joe Burrow is more straightforward, especially after containing Derrick Henry to only 46 yards, the Bengals rushing attack will likely struggle again this week.
