Phoenix Suns vs LA Clippers

Spread: Suns -1 / Clippers +1

Moneyline: Suns -110 / Clippers -115

Total: Over/Under 226.5

The #1 overall seed Phoenix Suns travel downtown a day after beating the Lakers and setting the Franchise Wins record in a season to take on the #8 Clippers at Arena. Both teams are locked into their current seed regardless of how the season ends.

The Suns were the same well-oiled machine we’ve seen all year last night. Booker put up 32, Ayton dropped 22, and Chris Paul dished out 12 assists. The Suns did fail to cover the 12.5 point spread in that one and haven’t covered in 4 straight games. The Under has hit in 4 of their L5 games and that’s not surprising, the Suns starters have been given rest ever since they locked up the #1 seed nearly 2 weeks ago.

The Clippers just blew out the Pelicans at home Sunday night 119 to 110 on an impressive 21/44 from deep. Since Paul George returned against Utah last week the Clippers have won and covered 3 of their L4 games. Clippers are also 11-5 in their L16 games coming off an ATS win. Even though they’re destined for the play in tournament the Clippers are still looking to regain their form heading into the post-season so PG will be active tonight.

Head-to-Head this series also favors LAC, Clippers have covered 19 of their L28 meetings and 11 of their L14 played at home. The home team has also won all three meetings between these two teams so far this year. Even if the Suns don’t outright rest their starters tonight, they will play shortened minutes coming off a game last night. Paul George and the Clippers need every healthy minute they can to ensure they make it out of the play in tournament.
